We are expats ourselves and used Rotsvast to rent out our house during our stay abroad. Two times went good. The third time Rotsvast facilitated for a person who did not meet the screening criteria to have his sister sign, carrying the same family name, the agreement on his behalf. Of course without our knowledge. During a court case we learned about the unsettling reason why this person could not provide any financial references. Agreements have been forged, and signed in our name, to allow these legal access to register with Dutch local governments. We have experienced years, and years of structural delays in rent payments. 3 months or more are no exception. New data that apeared in court suggests that Rotsvast kept rent payments behind for at least the last 3 years and often blamed the renter.
