I was taken care of the midwives of this practice from my 20th week of pregnancy on, since we moved to the Netherlands only then. I knew and was used to a different healthcare system, also when it comes to the care of pregnant women. Plus I didn't understand Dutch. Thanks to the midwives and also the centering pregnancy groups I felt very welcome right from the beginning and had no problems at all getting used to the Dutch system. During the whole pregnancy and also after birth I couldn't imagine of a better care. The midwives were friendly, accessible and very professional all the time. I highly recommend this practice. I went through my pregnancy and subsequently delivered my child with the help of the midwives at this practice. I couldn't be more satisfied. Even though I had a rough pregnancy, never once did I feel unprepared or not cared for. I was very well informed about each step, not just with regard to the pregnancy but also about differences in the ways pregnancy is handled in the Netherlands and my home country. They were a calming presence in a very important phase of my life. The setup they have also brought me into contact with a number of other expats who were expecting at a similar time, building a good network for us.
