Well organised practice; I went several times for hygienist and check-up. The last time I went, they made an x-ray. Saw a cavity. And answered when I asked what to do next, to go home and come back when it starts hurting. I then went for a 2nd opinion in my home country: first, the hygienist had left some plaque in two spots, something that the DCU dentist had not seen or not bothered to comment upon and second, we immediately closed the cavity. The reason why I will not go back beyond these reasons is that when I asked if it was necessary to re-seal the fissures as matter of prophylaxis (yes, I am willing to pay myself) the dentist said: " It is not necessary. And even if it was, I would not do it." Well, I am in my 40's and only have that 1 cavity (which came during my dental check-ups in the 6 years I live in NL) . . . Inga | 07-05-2017
