Acupuncture aims to bring the body to a state of balance and start the process of self-healing by stimulating the trigger points, aka acupuncture points. Our bodies are designed to recover by themselves and acupuncture gives the body that push to get better. Sometimes the disease is caused because the body’s battery has been running low for some time and after reaching a certain point, can no longer maintain the balance. In those cases, stagnations can occur in certain parts of the body, pathways are blocked which lead to pain/chronic fatigue/digestion/sleep and many different issues. Acupuncture helps the body to regulate itself.
