Valerie, the hostess, and Hans, the skipper, made our light festival cruise both informative and fun. We had a large group of family and friends and the boat staff were very patient whilst we corralled everyone onto the boat. I can’t say enough good things about this company, they provided an entertaining commentary on the light installations and the general history of Amsterdam and the canals; this coupled with bottomless drinks and some tasty snacks made for a brilliant group outing. Our group all spoke English but Hans did mention that he spoke several other languages. We were all disappointed when the tour was over and I think we would have all been happy to have gone around again. We did the Amsterdam Light Festival tour with family and friends just before New Year. Valerie and her skipper, Hans made us very welcome and their explanations about each light installation were both fun and informative. The Gluwhein was delicious and Valerie's special cake was very popular with the kids. I'm looking forward to our next experience and would not hesitate in recommending Amsterdam Boat Experience.
